INSIDE LUCY LETBY’S PRISON LIFE: FORMER INMATE CLAIMS CONVICTED NURSE SPENDS HER DAYS WORKING IN THE CANTEEN AND WATCHING DVDs

An account from a former HMP Bronzefield inmate has offered a glimpse into the daily routine of the former neonatal nurse, who is serving 15 whole-life sentences.
Lucy Letby is reportedly living a quiet and largely isolated life inside HMP Bronzefield, where she spends time working, watching films and trading DVDs with other prisoners, according to a former inmate.
The 36-year-old, who was convicted of murdering seven babies and attempting to murder seven others at the Countess of Chester Hospital, is serving 15 whole-life sentences at the women’s prison in Surrey.
In an account published by The Sun on November 1, a former fellow inmate claimed Letby works in the prison’s food-serving area, known as the servery, in a unit housing several high-profile prisoners. She had reportedly worked in the laundry room previously.
The source also described Letby as someone who enjoys watching films and exchanging DVDs with other inmates. She reportedly has access to a television in her cell and keeps largely to herself.
A QUIET ROUTINE BEHIND BARS
According to the former inmate, Letby is held in House Block 4, a unit reportedly accommodating prisoners serving the early stages of life sentences and those who have earned enhanced status through their behaviour.
The source claimed that prisoners in the unit have access to facilities including private bathrooms in their cells and a library where they can borrow books and DVDs with staff supervision.
Despite opportunities to take part in prison activities, Letby reportedly chooses not to attend events such as talent shows.
The former inmate told The Sun that Letby remains on her wing and is accompanied by prison staff. They described her as quiet and said she generally keeps to herself.
The account also mentioned that Letby is housed in the same unit as other high-profile prisoners, including Beinash Batool, who was convicted in connection with the dєatᩚh of 10-year-old Sara Sharif.
CLAIMS ABOUT HER RELATIONSHIP WITH ANOTHER PRISONER

The report revisited earlier claims that Letby and Batool have spent time together playing Uno, chatting and preparing food in the prison kitchen.
According to sources quoted in previous reporting, the pair have also spent time in each other’s cells.
However, these details come from anonymous accounts and have not been independently confirmed by the prison authorities.
The latest report also included differing claims from former inmates about Letby’s behaviour and the privileges she allegedly receives. These accounts should be treated as allegations rather than established facts.
HER LEGAL FIGHT IS NOT OVER
While details of Letby’s reported prison routine have attracted attention, her convictions remain in force.
She was found guilty of murdering seven babies and attempting to murder seven others in connection with incidents at the Countess of Chester Hospital between 2015 and 2016.
Letby has consistently denied the offences. After unsuccessful attempts to appeal her convictions, her legal team has applied to the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC), the independent body that investigates possible miscarriages of justice.
The commission is considering whether the case should be referred back to the Court of Appeal. A review does not mean that her convictions have been overturned.
For now, Letby remains behind bars, serving her whole-life sentences while the CCRC considers her application.
